Ann is owner of two wellbeing businesses; ‘Work Safe and Well’, bringing a creative approach to developing positive and healthy workplaces, and ‘Creative Leader EFT’ a transformational coaching practice combining Eastern acupressure and Western Talk therapy methods to help clients release blocks and limiting beliefs. Ann is a Chartered Health and Safety practitioner and has worked in a range of settings in the Public, Voluntary and Private sectors, gaining distinguished service awards for her work supporting her professional organisations. She has served on numerous professional advisory committees in the H&S sector including the professional standards committee of IOSH, and most recently, as a Judge for the RoSPA workplace safety awards.
She has specialist expertise in mental health, equality issues and health promotion, and is a committed ‘Time to Change’ champion and mental health campaigner, experienced in setting up peer-support mentoring teams to support positive mental health in the workplace. She is also developing a business mentoring group for SME’s and sole traders to reduce social isolation in this expanding sector of our economy.
Married to a local boy, Ann has been visiting Glastonbury for nearly 30 years and relocated back here from Scotland in 2013 to care for family members. Since then she has supported several local charities and arts groups and is a keen supporter of the local arts and music scene. She is an artist member of the Abbey Muse Art Gallery and is a published artist, writer and trained community Arts course leader. She also enjoys performing in local theatre productions and with the band ‘John D Revelator’ at venues across the country.
